EAT RIGHT

Can you guarantee what you put in your mouth? In other words, what are you eating? Did you know that you are what you eat just as you are what you think? Hmmmm, What you put in your mouth makes a difference between life and death. Some items are labeled 'poison'. Others are not. Granted we now know that an item labeled 'poison' is poison, how can you be sure that out of the other items you want to put in your mouth, which one is poison and which one is not? It will be a great disaster if you claim that you are set in your ways and give us the adage, "you can't teach no old dog no new tricks" (whatever that construction means). Better be late than 'the late'. The 'late' is dead (simply put). I love life. I will continue to be selective when I put anything in my mouth. You can do it yourself. You can also ask me my formula, I don't mind. When you stay alive, you save your kith and kin the hassles of ambulances, hospital visits, prohibitive bills, morgue and funeral home ordeals, pricing and buying caskets, sitting at the dining table across from the estate administrator - just by what you put in your mouth. As for me, I choose life. I will know that I did everything I need to do as a human being, and God always makes the final decision. Eat right. Walk away from negatives.

FAMILIARITY

Isn't it amazing that the people who know closely are the ones to minimize what you are doing or what you represent? Isn't it amazing? People from distant places who have never seen you are judging you by your name, reputation, output, and the change you have brought into people's lives. Guess what? The people who know you in person and have access to you at any time they want are the ones to question the quality of your work? I have conducted the experiment. I kept one group far away from me. I kept another group very close, close enough to see me, talk with me, visit my house, share meals in my home, etc. After the first 6 months, I saw that I was no longer worth anything to those who see me. Over that same 6-month period, my worth with those who cannot see me increased tremendously, so much that whatever I said was almost like Law. After the second 6 months, I had become so familiar with the first group that what I said had no weight. At that same time, those who are unable to see me but only deal with me over the phone, text, and email were so excited and were clamoring for an opportunity to meet with me. Guess what (again), I will not let them see me. They are already satisfied with what they get. So, why should I blow it? Watch your familiarity index.

RISKS

RISKS:
When you consider the unavoidable and inescapable risks you face every day, even if you are afraid of dying, you realize that you can die from some unimaginable factor. You cannot protect yourself. You cannot strategize and plan enough. Do not spend your precious time shielding yourself from dying. Spend your time living life, doing the things you like, taking your conscious upward-mobility steps, and climbing the ladder. Think about even the water you drink..., the bottled water you buy from the grocery stores..., how much plastic content INSIDE the water itself that you gulp down. How much of that water (and how much of the plastic content) will you drink before you die from it? So, why are you afraid to die? Go about your business! Humans get born; they eat, grow, and die. It does not really matter whether they die from COVID-19, belly-ache, or fatigue. Everything that happens between the birth and death continuum is 'happenstance'. Some make tons of money. Some get tons of degrees. Some achieve plenty of money and plenty of education. It's all pretty-much accidental, connection-oriented, planning-related, legacy, etc. At the end of the day, they die, whether they achieved anything or NOTHING. Again, go about your business between your birth and death. You have no control over the two. Therefore, do not sweat the things in-between.

VISION

Vision is very powerful. Virtually everyone came to this world with a vision: to be this, to be that, and to be the other. Therefore, people are busy working on their different visions. When you put another person behind the wheels of your vision, more often than not the person will not deliver because the vision is not coming from within the person. The vision is going into the person, and guess what? Are you thinking what I am thinking? If a person does not own a vision, that vision will be truncated knowingly or unknowingly. That is why corporations pay top dollar to a person who appears capable and fitting to deliver on a vision. Note that oftentimes, the 'visible' vision delivered to an executor may be different from the actual vision. If a corporation or a person entrusts a vision to you, take time to learn the vision. Be honest and pursue it with loyalty. Otherwise, tell the owner of the vision that you are not a perfect fit for that vision. It is better for you to quit honorably than to crash another person's vision.

Everyone who lost a dear one must accept my sympathy. This is the time for us all to come together. In this state of uncertainty, everyone can use some words of hope and encouragement. This is the purpose of this episode. Sit back and reflect as you hear the words in all the songs selected for this episode. All songs belong to Arthur Freds. Arthur Freds is also on Jango Radio. Wisdom and Foolishness

Knowledge and Power...

We were told that knowledge was power (and probably still is). Over time, we have seen knowledge. We have also seen power. We try to see if they are parallel or have a meeting point. From group to group, we find a divergence of views. Some say 'knowledge is power' while others counter, 'power is power', knowledge or no knowledge. Who will adjudicate? At this point, it no longer matters which camp I am in. This debate might be prolonged, and we are unable (at this time) to forecast the result. Is knowledge power?

A writer once said, "Thanks for supporting us. We are dying on every side. Our number is reducing drastically. So many things are working against us. We appreciate all who will just excuse us, even when we are wrong. If for nothing else, just to make sure we are spared as endangered species. Let us stop the spread of the virus called 'he was survived by his wife'. Please have good in the kitchen so we do not need to go to the restaurant. I believe that home food can be as tasty as (or even tastier than) outside food."

What did God design in marriage? Men would go out and select girls that catch their eyes and fancies. When you all did so, were you not fulfilling God's plan? The different girls listened to your toasting. Some ignored you. One accepted your sweet tongue.
Did those ones that agreed to marry do us a favor when they agreed to marry us?
When those initial girls refused your toast, did you not go get another girl?
Did you force this present one to marry you?
Did you both not know that God designed everyone's life this way?
Why should your sperm that took you energy and sweat to release become so unimportant? Did your wife say she didn't want to carry a pregnancy? Did you point the Avtomat Kalashnikova-47 to her head to secure her assent? Did she not feel happy when she became pregnant? Does that not mean you did her a favor by helping her and making her realize her womanhood? If she bore her father's name all the days of her life, do you think she would be happier that way? Didn't you think that she was bragging to other girls when her last name changed from her father's name to yours? Please spare me this theory that is different from what God set up. Your job is to love your wife. Her job is to submit to you. When she finally agreed to become your wife didn't that other girl regret losing you to her? Now, all of a sudden, you want to feel that she did you a favor to agree to become your wife. Listen: if you play the whimp she will see it and make you the whimp you have chosen to be. If you play the husband and take care of your responsibility as God designed it, she will see and call you 'lord' just as Sarah called Abraham "lord". Bring God into your life and be like Abraham. She will easily bring God into her life and be like Sarah. You will never regret it.

Do some of your old contacts suddenly wake up one day to ask how you are doing? Watch them. They need something from you. When they come, they make you feel like you are their friends. You can fall for it just to play along and see how that goes. Once they get you to your comfort level, they pop their requests. You may ignore such requests and damn the farce friendship. You may play along and see if the so-called friends will hang around after getting from you what they want from you. They are unlikely to hang around you. They will disappear only to reappear long after (when they need more from you). You are but a tool for your fake friends to achieve their results. You may spin your wheels daily because you are caring. You will realize it in the 'evening' of your life when you cannot turn back the hand of the clock. Bottom-line: take care of your OWN business as a priority over other people's problems/businesses. Be strong before you waste yourself.

Are You Wasting Admiration?

Did you know that you could be adoring a person without knowing that he or she has no regard for you whatsoever? The person would smile back to you when you smile. You will be showering him or her with so much respect and admiration oblivious of the fact that you are worth nothing in that person's eyes. Love everyone and remain conscious of your world. Invest professionally in connections, but do not overinvest your mental and emotional resources. Make concerted efforts to know who truly respects or cherishes you in the social and professional environment. hashtagemotional hashtagmental hashtagprofession hashtagrelationships hashtagrespect

The journey toward the end of 2019 has started; it probably isn't just starting today. The light bulb often comes on at different times for different people. As we progress through the remaining weeks, I like to focus on the 'immediate'. Incidentally, every second that ticks 'out' ticks toward a new season; the new season might be a new week, month, quarter, or year. As we head toward the end of the year, we must conscientiously tie loose ends on whatsoever platform the loose ends might be. This platform here requires tying of loose ends; let's do it and hope for a perfect and strong finish.
Welcome to the last lap of 2019.

Ideology has two definitions on Google as follows:(1) A system of ideas and ideals, especially one which forms the basis of economic or political theory and policy. (2) The science of ideas; the study of their origin and nature. A quick search will produce for you a slew of definitions. I just want to take it that they are all correct in their diverse ways of presenting ideology. When we juxtapose the definitions on the human way of life, we see the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Long story short...,
Two brothers grew up loving each other, eating from the same bowls, using their teeth to share the meat in the food with each other, and fight a common enemy. One brother went to church and came back. Instantly, the other brother became an enemy because he did not go to church, or he did not go to the same church with his brother. Ideology.
Two friends did everything together; I mean, everything..., EVERYTHING. One of them became a politician. Instantly, the other friend dissociated himself from the politician because politicians are this, that, and the other (in the opinion of the nonpolitician friend). Ideology.
Father took his wife and children to church from the time they were all (even being) born. Each child that entered college came home on holidays and refused to go to the father's favorite church. Each one has his or her own reason for not wanting to go. Before you knew it, only the father and mother were left to attend that church. The children have all gone to different churches of their choices. Ideology.
Two men loved soccer so much that they watched soccer games together during every soccer championship season. They had no affiliations. They were no fans of any club sides. One day, a championship took place in the city where they lived, and the soccer teams were from out of town. It turned out that the two soccer teams were respectively from the home towns of these mature men. They had gone to the stadium together to watch the game. At the stadium, they learned that one soccer club was from Person A's hometown and the other soccer club was from Person B's hometown. They were now cheering opposing clubs. Of course, one team will definitely win and the other will lose. It happed just that way. These two friends returned from the stadium at different points that evening. They would not even want to see each other anymore. Ideology.
Two neighbors who were very fond of each other played in the same as they were growing up. They lived in a vibrant community that had high patronage of entertainment. These two boys agreed that they were going to become musicians when they grew up. They grew up, went from primary school to secondary school, crashed out of secondary school, went into music. The friendship died because..., guess..., one joined a pop group and the other joined a highlight band. The highlight band boys made money and were proud of their money. The pop music boys were fashion-crazy, and commanded all the girls in town but had little or no money. Each one had no regard for the kind of music the other is playing. That friendship died. Ideology.
Two university students, coursemates, both brilliant, and hardworking agreed that they would go into politics after graduation. They both graduated with good results. They began to make their in-road into politics through community activism in the same neighborhood where they grew up. The political season came up, the two young men found themselves in opposing parties. They forgot that politics was just a game. They took it personally and detested each other just because they were in two different (opposing) parties. Behind these decisions to part ways, someone is THINKING something. Someone is having an IDEA about the situation on the ground. Someone or both of them became IDEA-logical about whatever he was THINKING. Think.
Ideology. Ideology. Ideology.
One person believes that there is God. The other believes that there is no God. Both of them read from a book or a mere paper and believed what they read. On the basis of what they read (that someone else wrote), they became fanatics to the point of wanting to kill 'unbelievers' (or even actually killing 'unbelievers'). Friendships have been ruined. Families have been destroyed. Organizations have been sunk. Lives have been lost. Is an ideology worth a person's life? Think. Yes, feel free to believe in something, say, the air, a leaf, a stick, a tree, a river, etc. However, do not let your belief in that think lead you to extremes. As for me, I too believe in something. I believe in Jesus Christ. I will not kill you because you believe in mushrooms. Think.
Mentors and Mentees have been enjoying huge benefits, growing their networks, and reaping $$$ within and among themselves.
Have you been left out of that ring?
Now the single most powerful tool is available to you from mentors who have been growing their following around the world noiselessly.
You must put this template to use instead of wallowing in pity-party. Get the Template Now! -  https://eclipseventuresinc.com
The task ahead of us all is as important as anything we might consider important on other platforms. Just think about one thing you consider important. Then, think about another thing you consider important. Why do you consider one more important than the other? Is the 'less important' thing truly less valuable than the 'more important' thing? Or is it that your TIME, PLACE, and CIRCUMSTANCE make one 'more important' than the other? For instance, the learning domain (where I mostly am) commands great attention because it has a time lag.
When that time elapses, efforts so far made will be in jeopardy. Therefore, every passing moment is critical to the success anyone is making in any journey. I often view every life's journey from the angle of demand, supply, and price. How much do we demand the product called 'life'? How much of the product (life) is in supply? How much are we willing to pay to acquire and secure the product (life)?

Proverb 18:21
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."
Do not say everything you know. Keep some of them in your head. In fact, allow those critical ones to stay there forever. There are some things that can cause collateral damage when they are said. A lady once said to me, "this is a secret I will take to my grave," and that statement made sense to me. She is a wise lady. Yes. You have to take some of those secrets to your grave. Some of the information you received on trust must be safeguarded. In fact, some of your thoughts are so vile that you should just eschew them before you do yourself irreparable harm. Guard your tongue. You might have a truth to tell, but think about that truth very well and make sure the truth will not cause a regrettable problem, and in some cases, death (just because you want to be the good one). What do you know? When did you know it? Where you get it from? Can you contain it in your head? Are you struggling with retaining that knowledge? is your body itching for you to jettison that knowledge or information? Remember that someone dug a hole in the ground and shouted into it, "King Midas has ass's ears." Sooner than later, the whole village heard about King Midas and his ears. The hole in the ground could not keep that secret. We have also been told that "the walls have ears." Whether it is true or false is not for you to experiment. Guard your tongue. Are you thinking about some evil thing someone did that you knew about? Are you under pressure to release the information? Is it peer pressure that you are about to cave in under? Guard your tongue. It is not everything you know that you must reveal. Yes, you believe that many people already know it, but that is not sufficient to make you release it. If they all know about it, then, let them release it, but guess what? They are wise. They are waiting for you to release it so the story will be that you are the one who let the cat out of the bag. Guard your tongue.

KEYNOTE ADDRESS

Ladies and Gentlemen.
It is my great pleasure to stand here before you.
On the other hand, it is a big shock to me that you can gather together on a topic such as this.
I actually thought that the topic and purpose of today’s meeting would have drawn intense ire among you and make many of you uninterested to attend this meeting. What a pleasant disappointment I have today received. I hope that by the end of today’s meeting, everyone will leave this place in one piece. Some time ago, I went to two events such as this and spoke to a group of people who appeared to have your kind of purpose. One event was in the Western world and the other was on the dark continent. After delivering my keynote address on each of those occasions, I left to attend to other pressing matters. At the end of the event that took place in the Western world, I received a report that a few people left before the event ended (which is absolutely normal). I also heard that many people stayed until the end of the event. However, the summation report I received did not reflect the spirit with which the people gathered on that peaceful morning. Some friends had become enemies. Some enemies had become friends. Some individuals who had nothing to do with each other had become frenemies. Such are the realignments that occur when you gather like this. I do hope your event today will not end on that kind of note. At the end of the event that took place on the dark continent, I also received a report of the deliberations. I heard that the meeting was chaotic, speakers and presenters were interrupted indiscriminately. Some contributors from the audience were shouted down by members of the same audience. A fistfight broke out about four times. The meeting that started with an opening prayer ended without a closing prayer. The only realignment that occurred was the creation of more enemies than friends. Accusations and mutual suspicion. These two examples are not in line with my expectations from this August event. I expect that diplomacy should undergird your deliberations. However, I would advise that you do not hide behind diplomacy to lie and deceive your listeners. Your meeting of today will dictate the pace on several fronts. Several people across the horizon are waiting for the outcome of your meeting. Any attempt to scuttle the deliberations will spell doom for those who are waiting to know the outcome of your meeting as their lives are on the line. Some of them are on the chopping block. Some of them are conceptually already tied to the stake and awaiting the unspeakable. Your meeting today is very important. Do not play with the lives of people. I will leave you with two examples from two of the world’s many cultures. One culture is where husbands and wives disagree and decide to end their marriages. They end their marriages but still meet from time to time as intimate friends (you know how that goes). They want each other alive because that friendship is going well. Another culture is one in which husbands and wives disagree. One kills the other before they part ways. One labels the other mental to get rid of him or her. One hates all the friends and relatives of the other. Take a deep breath and think about these two cultures. Which culture would you truly subscribe to? Please end today’s meeting in the spirit of the culture of your chosen subscription. Have a wonderful deliberation.
